Max's Story:

Max was rescued after his owner left him alone for a week. The owner had a financial problem and couldn’t be found anywhere. We got a call and went to check out his condition. Then we decided to bring Max to our rescue and tried to find him a forever home

Max is a very sweet and affectionate boy. He enjoys taking a walk with his foster sister, a senior golden, every day. He knows he has to wait for his sister because she walks slowly. Every time when people see Max in the park, people are very curious about what breed Max is and if he is friendly. Max are super gentle to kids and small dogs. They like to play with Max and everyone can pet Max even a stranger.

Max has been in foster for 7 months. His foster mom would like to find Max a home where he can run in a big yard. Since Great Pyrenees are working dogs, Max needs lots of exercise every day. We want to find an experienced owner who know the breed and can provide proper care for Max.

Max knows some basic commands, such as “sit”, ”lie down”, “wait” and “shake hand”. His foster mom feed him twice a day. Max likes to have cooked beef with dry dog food. He may be a little picky if there is dog food only. Max is a very mellow and gentle boy. His foster mom gives him supplement, such as COSEQUIN DS for his joint health. Max is also housebroken. He knows he has to go potty outside. He sleeps on his own bed and keeps aware of the noise outside the house. Max is neutered, healthy, up to date on vaccines and chipped.

FiFi is a small-sized golden. She only weighted about 35 lb when she was rescued. Both of her ears have hematoma. It makes her ears look smaller than a standard size. She was severely malnourished and was heartworm positive when we had her. Luckily, she has gained weight and finished her treatment.

FiFi is a sweet and affectionate girl. She is always full of energy. FiFi gets along with dogs well and enjoys staying with her human companions. Since she has lived in the kennel for all her life, she is not well socialized. She doesn’t know how to get along with dogs in the beginning. Therefore, there may be fights accidentally.
