Three of the Fab Four

Age: 1.5 years

Gender: Male

Weight: Fido: 50lbs; Bailey: 48lbs; Jacky: 42lbs;

Now looking ahead to happy puppydom with their new families

Life has not been fair to these boys. They came out of a puppy mill in Taiwan. Through no fault of their own, these little boys were not sold to a pet store. They lived the entirety of their life, all 1.5 years in a tiny enclosure. Fed only occasionally, with NO socialization, NO ball playing, NO walks on a leash and absolutely no belly rubs or loving human contact. Or even just being petted. It was a horrible existence.

They have been here in the US for 3 weeks and in the care of a loving foster family, they have come a long way and are starting to enjoy life.

Fido has been visiting Starbucks for a daily fix of Puppy Mochas! He loves humans - big and small and receiving pets and hugs. He generously gives back kisses! Fido is ready for his new adventure with his own loving and patient family

Bailey is 2 weeks behind Fido in training and self-confidence. He does not like to go on long walks yet. He is still taking baby steps towards trusting humans and will soon get there with love and patience. Bailey is currently not ready for adoption

Jacky is the shyest of all the gang. We are seeing slow improvement in him. Jackie is not ready for adoption.

This is why we do what we do. These boys have been rescued from a deplorable situation and are headed towards a healthy, happy and loving future.

Age: 2-3 years

Gender: Female

Weight:22kg/48lbs

Dogs: ok

Cats: Not known

Now getting ready for pumpkin season with her loving family!

Fanny was found wandering on the streets. A volunteer found Fanny and rescued her. Fanny is very timid when she comes to the rescue. She feels insecure when she is new to the surroundings. She may not get close to you at first. Instead, she will observe you in the beginning. It takes fanny couple days to feel relaxed and comfortable when she starts trusting people. As long as she thinks you are nice to her, she will start showing her personality. Fanny may get nervous if there is any stranger around her. She may refuse to eat. If she is familiar with the people around her, she will continue to finish her meal.

Fanny got loose once when the door was not locked. Therefore, we would like to remind Fanny’s new owner to be very careful. Don’t let Fanny have any chance to run away from the house. It may not easy to get her back because Fanny will be too scared and hide somewhere. Fanny needs some time to trust people. That’s why we are looking for an owner who has patience and love to help Fanny.

Fanny is always calm and gentle. She never bites people even she is very scared of them. She just can’t stop shaking when she has fear. Fanny loves treats. It’s a good way to start building trust with her. Fanny is also good with dogs. However, she doesn’t like to be bothered. That’s why she prefers staying alone in the corner. Fanny is spayed, healthy, up to date on vaccines and chipped.

Now romping around with his own loving family!

Boy, Johnny and Honey come from the same owner. His owner has to surrender them to the rescue because he’s very busy at work. He knows these three dogs deserve more attention, so he decides to let them find a better home.

These three dogs have similar personality. They used to live together and don’t have much social life with other dogs. Therefore, they are timid when they are not familiar with the new surroundings. They may show anxiety or refuse to eat for the first few days. It takes about 2-3 days for them to get relaxed. When they feel comfortable, they will start showing their personality. They will become active and playful then.

Johnny gets nervous when he is new to a place. He may show fear when he is not comfortable. He needs some time to get used to the surroundings and his people. Therefore, you need to be gentle and slow when you have Johnny.

Boy and Honey may hide in the corner when they are new to a place. They may be alert and may bark when they meet strangers for the first time. You just need to let them smell you and know that you are nice to them. They will be very sweet and affectionate when they trust you.

Honey and Johnny are both active and playful. They love to get attention from their human companions and would love some belly rubs. Boy is more calm and shy. Just need to be gentle when you meet him. He will start showing his personality little by little.

All three of them are not housebroken. They will need some training when they get to their new homes. They may show separation anxiety when they are left alone. Therefore, we are looking for families who can be home most of the time. Since Boy, Johnny and Honey are only 5 years old. They still have lots of years to be with their people. We would like to find owners who are committed to take good care of these three dogs. Boy, Johnny and Honey get along with dogs well. Since they may be shy when they are new to a place, they may not play with other dogs in the beginning. Boy, Johnny and Honey are all neutered or spayed. They are healthy and up to date on vaccines. They are also chipped.
