Now an important member of a loving family!

Jill's Story: Jill was abandoned in a local shelter by her owner. She was in a good condition except for poor eyesight. We took her to a specialist and found that the reason Jill is almost blind is because of cataract. Her left eye is almost blind and her right eye only has a very low vision. According to the vet, it’s better to have a surgery called cataract emulsification and have intraocular lens inserted on her right eye. Jill’s vision did get back a little bit. Sadly, the lens peeled off few weeks later. Jill is now almost blind. Since then, the vet doesn’t recommend any invasive treatment for Jill due to her age. So far Jill can only see some light and reply on her ears to identify where sound comes from. Luckily, her poor eyesight doesn’t stop her and affect her daily routine.

Jill is an adorable girl. She has very beautiful eyes. Even though she can’t see very well, she knows to use her ears to locate your position and make a response. Jill likes her human companions. She enjoys taking a walk every day. She gets along with dogs well, too. Since she is almost blind, she barely plays with other dogs. Jill has a very good temperament. She deserves to get more love and care. Jill is spayed, healthy, up to date on vaccines and chipped.
