Sadly his parents didn’t want to keep Alston and let him stay in the balcony instead. Alston was dumped by them a couple of times. Since he is chipped, his owner got a call from the shelter and had to pick him up every time. The last time, Alston was given away to some workers. When their son heard that Alston was dumped by his parents again he rushed to bring Alston back. Thank God Alston was saved at the last minute because those workers was shaving Alston’s coat and there was boiling water on the side when Alston’s owner arrived.

After this incident, Alston’s owner decided to surrender him to the rescue. We are glad that Alston finally can start his new life. Alston is a sweet and affectionate boy.
