Maybe's Story:

Maybe was found abandoned on the streets. Her coat was dirty and matted when she was rescued. After taking her to the vet, she was found Babesia positive. Luckily, Maybe has a very good appetite. She has finished her 6-week treatment and now is a healthy and happy girl.

Maybe is very active and playful. She loves her human companions a lot and sometimes jumps on them to say hello. She may be anxious when hearing thunder. Maybe loves to get attention and will bark when left alone. However, she will stop soon if you ask her to be quiet.

Maybe likes to be the queen of the castle and not share her family with other dogs. She does get along with them. This little Princess wants a family of her own to love and be adored. Maybe came to the US from Taiwan July 30, 2017. Good with cats. She just learned to swim today jumping into the pool for her toys. Maybe has learned to alert at the door when she needs to go outside to potty, she is in training, but learning. She pulls very hard on her flat collar, needs training with a sensation harness or something like that. Maybe sits, & shakes, still needs correction on counter surfing. Too many good smells, right? Maybe doesn't want to share her adoptive family with other dogs. Maybe is spayed, healthy, up to date on vaccines and chipped.

Now a queen of her castle with her new loving family!

Sunny's Story:

Came to US mid March 17' from Taiwan. Being fostered in San Jose now. Sunny was returned as we discovered she and cats aren't a good fit. No cats. You will be able to pick Sunny out very easily as she has a black Zebra stripe down her side. Now isn't that stunning?

Sunny wants a family of all of her own, not wanting to share it with anyone else. She wants to be the queen of the castle.

At a very tender age Sunny had some kind of accident which tore her ACL.[Anterior Cruciate Ligament, knee]. It was left untreated and the knee joint has fused itself and is non-operable. This has left her with a very stiff back leg. But this doesn't slow Sunny down and she's happy and lively. She does need a boost into the car. Sunny loves her walks & walks well on a leash. She loves to be brushed and petted. She is very sweet and loving with her humans. Sunny is waiting to pick her family to adopt. Is that you?

A Mei's Story:

A Mei used to live in the kennel outside of a house. Her owner is missing. Thanks to the neighbors, they keep feeding A-Mei so that she wouldn't starve to death. The neighbors found that A-Mei may not feel well because she lost her appetite. They were not able to take her to the vet, so they called us for help. We rushed to pick up A-Mei and took her to the vet immediately.

It turned out that A-Mei had Pyometra and she needed a surgery right away. The vet also found a tumor on A-Mei’s back. It has been removed as well. According to the biopsy, it’s benign. A-Mei has suffered so much, but she has strong spirit. We are very glad she made it and in on the way to recovery.

A-Mei is a sweet and affectionate girl. She loves to stay with her human companions. Although she is a senior dog, she still has so much energy. A-Mei gets along with dogs well. However, she doesn’t play with them often. Since she used to live in the kennel for all her life, A-Mei prefers staying within a space where she can feel more secure. A-Mei gets excited when she sees cats, so we guess she might chase them. She also gets excited when meeting small dogs. She may bark at them, but she won’t bite them. A-Mei has a very good temperament. She is always calm and gentle. A-Mei is spayed, healthy, up to date on vaccines and chipped.
