Mica was rescued near a cliff. Yes, a cliff where she might fall right away if we didn’t rescue her in time. She was trying to get the leftover on the edge of the cliff and didn’t know she was in danger. Luckily, our volunteer found her and rescued her before she lost her life.
Mica was not in a good condition when rescued. She was very skinny and was tested heartworm positive. Both of her ears have hematoma and she also has some scars on her skin. It takes Mica a long time to gain weight and start her treatment. Now she has done her heartworm treatment. Due to her sensitive digestive system, she may have soft stool easily. Our vet suggests some special dog food for sensitive stomachs which can be found in the store or online.
Mica is a sweet and affectionate girl. She may show anxiety and bark when she is not familiar with the surroundings. However, she will stop soon after she feels secure and comfortable. Mica is mouthy sometimes. However, she will stop when you ask her not to do it. She needs an owner who can show her disciplines. In this case, she will be obedient. Mica also eats fast. That’s why we use slow feed dog bowl when feeding Mica.
Mica gets along with dogs well. However, she doesn’t play with them often. She prefers staying on the corner and enjoys her own time. Mica doesn’t pick up fights. However, she may protect her food toward dogs because she is very eager to eat every time. We think she is not ready for homes with young kids. Mica loves balls and enjoys swimming a lot. She can be a great dog if she is the only dog in the house. We know it may take a while to find a home for a senior dog. However, we still wish that Mica can have a chance to have her families. Mica is spayed, healthy, up to date on vaccines and chipped.
