Why Do Rescues Have Adoption Fees?

Along with daily care costs, the adoption fees help True Love Rescue cover vaccination and medical prep costs for the pets.

Adoption Fees:

$900 - Babies aged 0-6 months
$850 - Puppies aged 7 months to 1 year
$800 - Dogs aged 1+ years to 5 years
$750 - Dogs aged 5+ years to 8 years
$550 - Dogs aged 8+ years
Regarding Puppies - The adoption contract requires the family be responsible for the cost to spay/neuter a puppy at the discretion of their vet and provide True Love Rescue with proof of the spay/neuter.

Fees for Dogs with special needs will be determined based upon circumstances and may result in a fee reduction.

Adoption Inclusions:

Along with daily care costs, the adoption fees help True Love Rescue cover some vaccinations and medical prep costs for the dogs. At adoption, True Love Rescue dogs will be current on their vaccines and will have the following in most cases:

Rabies (1 yr. or 3 yr.)
Distemper (DHPP)
Negative Heartworm and Ehrlichiosis Test
Dogs arriving from Taiwan come with a link to a set of X-Rays
Dogs arriving from Taiwan come with dental cleaning
Altered - Adult Females Spayed or Adult Males Neutered
Micro-chipped
