Iris was rescued from a puppy mill. She was very shy when she was dropped off to our rescue. Since Iris lives all her life in the kennel, she has no experience playing with dogs. She may show fear if she is not familiar with the surroundings. It may take her some time to feel safe and relaxed. She will start opening up to people then.
Iris is a sweet and affectionate girl. She enjoys staying with her human companions and loves to get petted. Iris also gets along with dogs well and she learns to play with her doggy friends day by day. She has a great temperament and always walks away when there is a fight. We found Iris had mammary tumor after taking her for checkup. It has been removed by a surgery. According to biopsy, it’s benign. Iris is not fully housebroken and may need some leash training. We are hoping that Iris can find her loving family and enjoy her happy life here. Iris is spayed, healthy, up to date on vaccines and chipped.
