Max is super sweet and loves affection. He has been a great "nanny" to the HotRod litter of puppies. He is missing fur on his nose due to a condition called juvenile cellulitis ("puppy strangles") when he was a puppy. His condition has cleared up and it is not painful, dangerous, or contagious. Max will live a happy life. Just don't let the other doggies pick on him at the dog park for his looks!

Hi. My name is Mad Max. I’m not handsome like the other doggies at TLR, but I truly am the goodest boy. The TLR people rescued me and got me to a very nice vet. They say I had “Puppy Strangles”as a baby so I lost some fur on my face. I’m fine now, and I’m going to live a long and healthy life. I’m only almost 11 months old. But I’m always going to not be handsome. They tell me my face will stay just like this. I’m not contagious and it won’t get worse. I’m learning to not be such a scaredy cat, and I’m starting to play and cuddle a little cuz I’m all healthy. I love the litter of puppies that TLR has now, and I've been showing them the ropes. I get neutered on Monday, and will get all my shots too. I hope I'll get more treatos too! I hope someone will adopt me and be my family. They tell me that’s the very best thing ever. I dream of it every night. Could YOU be my very own hooman?
