Meet Honey. Her people were moving and couldn't take a dog. She’s as sweet as her name implies. She gets along with other dogs, cats, and is good with kids. She is affectionate, is housebroken, and travels well. However, she is not leash trained, her recall is not good, and she still has that puppy energy, so she needs a family who is ready to train her to be the best girl.
Honey is a big girl with big paws. She weighs 55-60 lbs now, and we think she might grow to be a 70-lb girl. When she was surrendered to us, she was in heat, so she will not be able to go home until she finishes her cycle (around late August). At 10.5 months, she is not old enough yet to be spayed, so her new family will be responsible for that. She is up to date on her shots.
If you are looking for love, this is your girlie. She is being fostered in Manteca, CA.
