64-lb Maria and 66-lb Macy were surrendered by the same owner. They were overweight when they came to our rescue. Additionally, we discovered that a section of Maria’s tail had been broken off. We have no idea what caused it because the previous owner didn’t offer any explanation.
Maria is a sweet and affectionate girl. She may have separation anxiety when she’s first introduced to a new environment, but she settles down once she adapts. Maria loves people and gets along well with dogs. She loves to cuddle and sleep next to her companions. She especially enjoys playing with Macy. We hope to find Maria a home where she can get more attention and love. Maria is spayed, chipped and up to date on vaccines.
