There are thousands of of stray dogs in Taiwan needing our love and care. We focus on larger purebred breeds like Golden Retrievers, Old English Sheepdogs, Bernese Mountain dogs, Collies and Shelties. There are many wonderful families in Northern California eager to welcome them into their hearts and homes.
True Love Rescue is a non-profit, all-volunteer organization based in Northern California. We work with volunteer rescue organizations in Taiwan to bring rescued dogs here.
In California, we work with Norcal Sheepdog Rescue, Collie Rescue as well as others so that we can find the forever homes these dogs deserve.
As of 2017, True Love Rescue began to work with local shelters and families needing to place their dogs with our care. In addition, True Love Rescue will be aiding in the rescue and rehoming of golden mixes (discretionary.)

We adopted Molly when she was 10 years old, about 4 years ago. Molly was a surrender due to her guardian being moved to assisted living. Molly was 98 lbs and completely blind. TLR called us and we didn't hesitate even for a second. Although we lost her in 2020, She made an everlasting impression on our family. True Love Rescue was honest about her condition and was able to help her family with rehoming Molly. We are grateful for all of their work.
