Founded in 2014, True Love Rescue is a non-profit, all-volunteer organization based in Northern California, focusing on Golden Retrievers and Golden mixes. We work with volunteer rescue organizations in Taiwan to bring rescued Golden Retrievers to Northern California.
True Love Rescue has been working with local shelters and families needing to place their dogs with our care. We have also been rescuing puppies and adults from serial backyard breeders.

Since 2014, True Love Rescue has partnererd with TPKR, a Golden Retriever rescue in Taiwan. Well vetted Golden Retrievers make the long flight from Taiwan to San Francisco International Airport to find their new loving homes.

We adopted Molly when she was 10 years old, about 4 years ago. Molly was a surrender due to her guardian being moved to assisted living. Molly was 98 lbs and completely blind. TLR called us and we didn't hesitate even for a second. Although we lost her in 2020, She made an everlasting impression on our family. True Love Rescue was honest about her condition and was able to help her family with rehoming Molly. We are grateful for all of their work.
