Blake was found wandering near a hiking trail up in the mountains. A hiker reported his location to us and we rushed to rescue Blake. After taking him to the vet, we were happy that he was chipped and we thought he just got loose. Sadly, we realized that he was abandoned by his owner. His owner refused to take Blake back when we called him. Therefore, Blake came to our rescue to look for a new home.
59-lb Blake is a sweet and happy boy. He likes people but he may jump on people to say hello. Blake also gets along with dogs well. He likes to play and has lots of energy. However, he is not housebroken. We think his former owner probably left him outside all day. That’s why he doesn’t know the routine. We are looking for an experienced owner who knows how to train a dog. Blake is neutered, chipped and up to date on vaccines.
