Hi my name is Champ, I’m approximately 18 months old. I am neutered microchipped and up on my shots. My mom and I came from a horrible environment, where we were kenneled in filth and malnourished. We were being dumped at a Tri Valley Shelter, but were turned away due to overcrowding. We were watched by another rescue until TLR could get there. Volunteers drove home with their heads out of their windows, because the stench was so bad. The TLR team got together the next day, scrubbing us clean, and cutting away the mats.
I feel so much better. My foster mom is feeding me 3 times a day, making my food the consistency of oatmeal. Since I have come to TLR, the world to me is Disneyland, all fun. I’m looking for a family to patiently love and train me to become that perfect boy. I’m good with other dogs, I like water, I travel OK and I'm great with children.I’m being fostered in Lodi.
