Five year-old, 66 lb Hunter is an owner surrender. He gets along with other dogs and children, but we do not know how he is with cats. He walks OK on leash, and knows some basic commands, but will need some training for housebreaking. He has no toy or food aggression.
Hunter was surrendered with another dog called Honey few months ago. Honey came to the US in March and now it’s Hunter’s turn to find his new home.
Hunter is a big boy. He was a little skinny when he came to our rescue. We found that his front left leg is not straight. After taking him to a specialist and some X-rays, the vet thinks Hunter was born like this. It may be a hereditary defect. The good news is that Hunter is not in pain. He can still walk and run like other dogs. Therefore, we decided not to let him get a surgery to fix the issue.
Hunter is a happy boy. He likes to play with dogs a lot. At the age of five, he still acts like a puppy and is full of energy all the time. Hunter likes swimming a lot and will jump into water anytime if he can. Hunter has a very good temperament. He is very gentle and always walks away when there is a fight.
We are looking a sweet home where Hunter can be loved. He is really a good boy. Hunter is neutered, chipped and up to date on vaccines.
