Jinger was rescued from a puppy mill. When our volunteer picked up Jinger, she was in a wire cage with minimal shelter and little personal attention. We feel so sad that Jinger spent her entire life in the environment. She was given away due to her age and poor condition.
Jinger had two mammary gland tumors when we got her, and we had them removed on February 15. She also has an elongated palate, which doesn't affect her; it just makes her pant (and snore) a little bit more.
Jinger is a sweet and affectionate girl. Even though she is not young, she still has lots of energy. She has a great temperament and gets along with dogs very well. She plays with other dogs sometimes, but prefers staying with people. We hope Jinger can find a home where she can get the attention she deserves. Jinger is spayed, chipped and up to date on vaccines.
