Kerwin was rescued from a puppy mill, where he was a sire dog. His owner decided to retire Kerwin from breeding and sell him to a pet shop. We stepped in and negotiated with the owner so we could find help Kerwin his forever home.
At 7 years old, 62-lb Kerwin is still a healthy boy, and he is still active and healthy. (Ask us to send you video of him at the dog park.) Kerwin knows some basic commands and is OK on leash. He is not a barker, and shows no food or toy aggression. He is a sweet and affectionate boy with a great temperament. He likes people and gets along very well with other dogs. He does have a hematoma that was left untreated by his former owner so it has become firm and his ears feel hard, but there is nothing wrong with them.
We hope he can find Kerwin a home where he can retire, be a dog, and bask in the attention he deserves.
