Phoebe's owner had no time for her and contacted us for help. When we picked her up, Phoebe was very skinny and her coat looked dirty and matted. We were told that Phoebe is five years old, but she looks older. We are relieved that Phoebe came to our rescue because she deserves a better home. Phoebe is only 53 lbs, and we hope she can gain more weight after she goes to her new home.
Phoebe is a sweet girl. She is always calm and gentle. She likes to be with people and waits patiently to get petted. Phoebe gets along with kids and other dogs very well. We have not been able to test her with cats, but at a pet fair last weekend she was calm when she saw the cats at the next stand. She has no known aggression, chewing, or barking habits. She knows basic commands, but needs some practice on leash walking and may need some training on housebreaking.
Phoebe is spayed, chipped and up to date on vaccines.
