Meet Homer 🤍 He came out of a system that passed him around every few months as a breeder. He was at yet another puppy mill for his services when he came into True Love Rescue.
Sadly, what we believed would be a second chance at a long life with a family all his own is not to be. We received the heartbreaking news that, at just 3 years old, Homer has an aggressive fast-growing rectal cancer.
Homer will now be a hospice foster. While this isn’t the journey we imagined for him, it will beone filled with love, comfort, dignity, and joy, inside of a loving home.
Our promise to Homer is simple: for however long he has, he will know warmth, safety, and unconditional love.
Providing hospice care means ongoing vet visits, medications, and specialized support. We appreciate every donation to True Love Rescue to help cover Homer’s medical care. Every contribution no matter the size helps us give Homer and every Golden we help the best life possible.
If you’re unable to donate, sharing Homer’s story is just as meaningful. Thank you for being part of a community that shows up for all of our rescue dogs.
