Sometimes breed specific rescues have big hearts 
and save dogs from horrifying situations, even if they are not full-bred. Meet Sir Troy. He was advertised on Craigslist as a free Golden Retriever, possibly a mix, in Fresno. The TLR foster who drove 250 miles realized that he was not a Golden, but could not leave him behind. The environment was so filthy that we had to rescue Sir Troy. His upper and lower teeth are worn down from chewing himself due to fleas, but that is all in the past. He is now flea free, clean, and receiving 2 premium dog food meals a day. He’s two years old, big (85 lbs), very loving, and good with children. We feel he would be a great ranch buddy. He’s being fostered in Lodi California.
